Analyze the chain of behaviors for a required task/activity that leads to demonstration of challenging behavior

• Identifying individual components within the chain in the order they are completed

• Observe student engaging in the behavior chain

  • Identify missed steps or specific areas of struggle

  • Address/remediate specific components of the chain

  • Observe behavior to identify increased success or additional areas of improvement
