Any scholar, fellow or trainee who is in IRRI to conduct research or training shall automatically be a member of this Association and no membership fee will be charged. However, the Association may receive contributions for the purpose of promoting recreational and education activities for the members.
Honorary membership may be awarded to any distinguished person in IRRI by the Executive Committee upon approval by the General Body.
The officiating Director General of IRRI is the Chief Patron of the Association.

Abide by and defend the Constitution
Vote for and be elected to any office.
Seek advice and assistance from the organization.
Note:
Honorary members have all of the above responsibilities, rights and privileges except the right to vote and hold office.
