Bdote identified three possible areas for consideration in the NGAPS pilot:
1. Enhanced language assessment with newly developed reading levels in Dakota and Ojibwe
2. Social-emotional-cultural assessment
3. School culture assessment
The staff at the school prioritized their time and efforts on the first option and are working with Ms. Campbell-Patton to develop standard-aligned language assessments in Dakota and Ojibwe.
