The Promotion chapter aims on one hand to showcase the programme to a worldwide audience, be it within the IPSF Community or even outside of it and on another hand provide guidance, assistance and aid in the promotion of the programme of our member organisations.
The main forefront of this chapter will be the Student Exchange Programme Instagram page and the various initiatives that will follow with its creation : SEP Contest, SEP Inter-Regional Promotion, SEP EXPO ...etc
It is worth mentioning that this chapter will synergise quite well with the documentations one since it is in our plans to create promotion guideline for wide distribution to our SEP Community.
This new platform will be the major promotion tool that will be used in order to promote what IPSF has to offer in terms of both a cultural and scientifique experience in the countries that host the programme.
Member Organisations will be called upon to contribute to the pages overall content across the long list of weekly initiatives that will be launched starting the Mid-January period.
In what is a common ground between the promotion and documentations chapters, this section will aim to provide a suitable amount of written guidelines regarding SEP Promotion and Its different aspects : Virtual SEP Promotion, Promoting Host Locations ...etc
We'll be counting on the feedback and requests of the SEP community in order to create the very documentations that were previously mentioned, any idea or proposition is welcome in that regard.
The Student Exchange Programme (SEP) is one of the most important projects of the International Pharmaceutical Students Federation (IPSF) that allows pharmacy students to gain practical experience in their field through internships in different countries.
This manual is intended to provide a comprehensive guide on how you canpromote your own SEP to enhance IPSF’s SEP visibility and participation as well as ensure that all the available placement slots are taken by filling all the vacancies available within your organisation.
Reasons For Promoting SEP :
● Encourage more pharmacy students to apply for SEP by emphasizing the advantages and opportunities this program offers in order to boost participation.
● To ensure that all available placement quotas are fully utilised within your organisation
● Expand your organisation's capacity to accommodate more outgoing students.
● Organise events that promote diversity and foster relationships between students from various backgrounds to help participants develop cultural awareness and understanding.
● Throughout their exchange journey, it can help students develop critical abilities in independent learning, communication skills, and pharmaceutical practice.
This manual is made to assist SEOs (Student Exchange Officers)who want to conduct Virtual SEP (VSEP) and other collaborative projects.
VSEPs allow students to participate in SEP without leaving their home, this provides a flexible and accessible way for students to engage in meaningful cultural exchange that may in turn further their interest in participating on your MO’s SEP.
Collaboration projects on the other hand helps SEO build connections with other SEOs and help cross-country promote their SEP through these projects.
