District 204 requires 2.5 years of Social Studies before graduation, however, most four year colleges/universities require 3 years of Social Studies for admission.

High school is a good opportunity to develop a familiarity with many subjects that students will encounter again as requirements in college. 

The Social Studies faculty of Neuqua Valley High School strongly encourages students and their parents to consider taking advantage of these courses to the extent that the student’s schedule will allow.
