Year 11 is one of the most important years at school as you will be taking your GCSE/BTEC exams which will shape your future and the opportunities available to you for your future academic and employment routes. You will have lots of additional help to make sure you are as ready as possible for your exams but you can also help yourself by brushing up on your study skills and revision techniques.

Priorities........
Year 11 is an absolutely vital year in your educational and life journey.. You will be working hard towards securing the best grades possible in your exams and thinking about where you intend to study after Year 11. Your tutor and HoY will be able to help you with information about this but it would also be a good idea to familiarise yourself with the choices in the 'Your Plans' section further down the page if you have not already made your choices.
Your Milestones.......
In Year 12/13, you will only be studying a maximum of 4 subjects that are closely linked to your future plans for academic and employment routes. Alternatively, you may be studying a vocational course that only concentrates on a specific type of job. Either way, you will be taking exams to gain qualifications as proof or your skills and abilities to progress in education or employment.
