This document describes the first steps of booking process with Innstant search engine.
1. After making a search, press on "Show Rooms" button, a display will expand and show the prices either in Category or Detailed view.
2. Under Category view, you will see the rooms grouped into categories. And under Detailed view all rooms will be displayed for a particular property.
Under both views, you will see the room name, board type and cancellation policy. Please note that some of the providers return cancellation policies on the search level and some don't. In order to see a cancellation policy which didn't return on initial search you will need to click on "Cancellation policy" link in order for the system to pull clx policy for a particular room.
3. If a search was made for a destination and you click on a particular Hotel name, a hotel page will open in a separate tab where you will be able to see more detailed information about the hotel like for ex. hotel description, map view, images, etc.
4. Innstant Comparison tool allows you to compare different hotels and rooms in a neat table format.
The heart icon appears on the hotel photograph next to the hotel on the results page or if you want to compare the rooms, the heart icon appears next to the room name.
How to use Heart Comparison tool:
1) Simply select the hotels or rooms that you would like to compare by clicking on the heart symbol.
- clicked a heart will turn a different color
- a number of clicked hearts will appear next to the Favorites icon on the bottom right corner of your screen
2) Click the Favorites icon and a comparison table will pop-up
3) You can amend or remove items by clicking on X. Additional comments can be added under "Add your comments" column.
4) Select Email button to share it with your clients
5. Search History tool allows you to see the last ten searches you've made on Innstant system.
- The History icon is located in the bottom right corner of your screen
- Click the History icon and history search window will pop-up
- To remove History click on Clear button
