Embedded in each course is a Google Meet code for faculty and students to Meet. Unfortunately, as Google no longer offers recording of our Meet sessions, faculty can now opt to replace that Google Meet code with a term-long Microsoft Teams Meeting code. Faculty can choose to record their sessions using the Recording a Teams Meeting. Finally, by following the Teams Scheduler procedure below, faculty can ensure students do not accidentally join a Google Meet instead of their class session.
Begin in your Moodle course and open any assignment or discussion in edit mode. Find an locate the Teams icon in the Description box.
By clicking on the Teams icon in Step 1, a Create Teams meeting box appears. It will prompt you to sign in to begin. Log in using your IU creditials.
