Medical fragility refers to a student that has medical conditions or health concerns that requires supervision or training from a skilled nurse. These individuals are typically not able to care for themselves and need help with basic activities such as bathing, feeding, dressing, and other activities of daily living.

Principal and Campus Coordinator should ensure that the following individuals have been notified of the need, so items can be ordered and training given prior to student arrival
Director of Nursing Services
SPED HQ (consider behavior, academic, and related service needs)
Transferring within the Charter:
When a transfer request has been made a staffing should take place. The following should be invited to attend:
Current Campus Admin who is knowledgeable about the student
Current Nurse and Campus Coordinator
Receiving Campus Admin, Campus Coordinator, and Nurse
SPED Area Director
Director of Nursing Services
HQ Representatives (Related Service Directors, Academic Director, Behavior Director, Executive Director or Assistant Executive Directors as it pertains to needs)
