COVID-19
Kia ora e te Whānau,
I trust you had a pleasant weekend with your families. Please see below for further information regarding how we will operate during the Red Setting of the Covid Protection Framework.
We had two great Teacher Only Days last Thursday and Friday. We are excited and ready to reconnect with you all and your wonderful tamariki.
See you all tomorrow,
Belinda Kennedy and the Ilam School Team

During School Time:
We will have 3 School Zones: Senior, Middle and Junior.
If you are onsite for pick up and drop off, please wait in the zone appropriate for your child.
Our playtimes and playgrounds will be rostered to minimise the mixing of teams.
We ask that children DO NOT play at school after 3:15 pm.
All tamariki will need their own labelled drink bottle as water fountains will be turned off.
Single use face masks:
If your tamariki are using single use face masks please talk to them about how to safely dispose of them.
Steps for removing single-use face masks:
Dispose in a closed, lidded bin or place into a bag and seal before putting into a rubbish bin or taking home
Clean your hands after disposing of the face mask with soap and water or use hand sanitiser (containing at least 60% alcohol). Ensure your hands are dry.
Here is a link for further information about mask wearing
Remember though, cloth masks are also appropriate.
Up to date contact information:
If you have moved recently or need to update your contact details please do so by completing this form.
We are keen to ensure we have everyone's correct details in case we need to contact you for any reason.
Entering the school grounds:
All adults must be wearing a suitable face mask and sign in using our QRCode when coming on site, or fill in our paper register.
All Year 4-6 children and staff must wear a mask when indoors. They can be taken off to go outdoors.
Childrens masks will be stored in our tote trays.
If you want your child to wear a mask and they are in Year 1-3, we will support you in this, however it is not expected. We will leave that decision to you.
If you need to come to school during the school day, again, scan in, mask up and come directly to the office and we will help you out.
