Saint Ignatius College Prep Immersion Programs: During the past summer, Saint Ignatius College Prep provided opportunities for approximately 85 rising seniors on Summer Service Projects. The site locations extend from Chicago to New Orleans, New Jersey, the border of Arizona and Mexico, and Los Angeles. The Junior and Senior Class Chaplains will collaborate in the second semester to inform and recruit students for the Summer Immersion Programs. Click here for more information.

Bank of America Charitable Foundation's Student Leaders Program: Since 2004, Student Leaders has been part of our ongoing commitment to youth employment and economic mobility. Preparing a diverse pipeline of community-minded young students with the leadership training they need to be successful in the workforce is vital to our approach to responsible growth and helps to build thriving communities. Through our Student Leaders program we connect more than 300 community-minded high school juniors and seniors from nearly 100 communities to employment, skills development and service. They're awarded paid summer internships with local nonprofits such as Boys and Girls Clubs of America and Habitat for Humanity and participate in a national leadership summit in Washington, D.C. Benedictine College Youth Leadership Conference: At BCYC Immersion, students receive a week-long experience of community, faith and scholarship, participating in one of more than a dozen academic tracks including Engineering, Voice, Nursing, Theology, Creative Writing and more! Economics for Leaders (EFL): is a selective summer program that teaches leaders how to integrate economics into the process of decision-making in a hands-on, experiential environment. Click here for more information.

The Experiment Leadership Institute: offers two highly competitive, fully funded programs for participants with demonstrated interest in intercultural leadership, global issues, and civic engagement. The Experiment Leadership Institute offers six-week pro­grams in South Africa and India, specifically focused on leadership development. These programs foster discussion on critical global issues such as worldwide health, human rights, and social change. The Experiment Leadership Institute promotes understanding of these and other global issues, and provides participants with an opportunity to see what communities are doing to address these challenges. Foresight Prep: The Power of YOU: Foresight Prep is an intensive, pre-college institute for 10 motivated high school students passionate about social equity and the environment at Loyola University Chicago. We facilitate hands-on seminars designed to empower motivated high school students to take action on urgent issues, and a year-round network connecting alumni with real world changemakers for ongoing mentorship. Global Summer Learning Institute (GSLI): The GSLI will focus on developing a Pipeline of high achieving diverse high-school students (rising high school seniors), LEADing for Life Scholars, by providing an immersive learning opportunity that includes both industry and college experience. GSLI is a 3- week summer learning experience that will focus on the following core competencies: Leadership Development, College Culture, Social Justice, College Admissions, Entrepreneurship, Campus Accommodations, Pre-work study – Corporate/University, Mentoring and Coaching, Corporate Culture, Experiential learning in 21st Century Industries. Global Summit: The Global Summit brings together motivated and engaged young people (ages 16-19) from globally diverse backgrounds to build lifelong connections, develop skills, and advance toward academic goals in a participatory, dynamic, and safe environment. Click here for more information.

Hugh O’Brien Youth Foundation (HOBY) Leadership Seminar: For sophomores only. HOBY’s mission is to inspire and develop our global community of youth and volunteers to a life dedicated to leadership, service, and innovation. HOBY programs are conducted annually throughout the United States, serving local and international high school students. HOBY provides students, for whom most are selected by their schools, the opportunity to participate in unique leadership training, service-learning, and motivation-building experiences, beginning a lifelong dedication to improving the lives of others. Launch Generation: Our overnight programs are maxed at 25 participants and teens attend hands-on sessions on topics such as budgeting and credit, negotiations, prototyping, business structures, and financial models, personal goal setting, branding, resilience, and more. Staff and visiting mentors include entrepreneurs, industry experts, and financial educators. No two days will be the same - we run sessions in the most engaging ways possible. Expect creative team projects, meaningful but hilarious workshops, leadership challenges, dedicated time to pick the brains of business owners and industry experts, numerous off-site visits, scavenger hunts, culinary business challenges, and participation in afternoons reminiscent of an episode of Shark Tank. Leading with Heart: An initiative to engage Chicago-area high school students in philanthropy and develop them into strong community leaders. Participating students receive leadership development training and learn about philanthropy while raising much-needed funds for Ann & Robert H. Lurie Children’s Hospital of Chicago’s Heart Center. Students engage in several sessions and learn all aspects of philanthropy and leadership from vision to execution. They receive coaching from some of Chicago’s leaders representing all aspects of the for-profit and not-for-profit communities. Loras College Peace Institute: Our world is deeply and beautifully interconnected. While this means that each of us has the opportunity to participate in and celebrate our common life, it also means that the horrific realities of violence and injustice in our society continue to be brought home to our doorsteps, perhaps now more urgently than ever. How can we respond? The Loras College Peace Institute is a four-day camp experience that teaches leadership and peace-building to high school-aged youth, empowering students with skills in self-awareness, relationship building and repairing, and inter-religious literacy. Mikva Challenge Summer Fellows: The Mikva Summer Fellows program offers graduating high school seniors the opportunity to gain experience in a political office setting while also developing their own leadership skills and building a team with their peers. Summer Fellows work for 6 weeks, likely June 29th – August 7th, for 21 hours each week. Summer Fellows serve in an assigned local elected official’s office for 16 hours a week and also attend one weekly 5 hour workshop downtown with other Summer Fellows to build community, explore their leadership strengths, and prepare for their next steps after high school. MIKVA CITYWIDE YOUTH COUNCILS: We are seeking youth in grades 9-11 who are passionate about making a change in their community and who want to make their voices heard. Citywide Youth Councils allow youth to have a voice in the formation, implementation, and evaluation of public policy; our councils address issues in public education, juvenile justice reform, teen health and youth-police relations. Student Leadership Academy at the National WWII Museum: During Student Leadership Academy, students spend one week with the Museum's staff of historians, curators, and educators in the most immersive WWII experience available at the Museum. A ride aboard PT-305, the Museum's WWII combat-veteran PT boat, concludes this exceptional week. Click here for more information.

National Youth Leadership Forum: For Freshman, Sophomores, and Juniors. Nominated students attend a 4-day forum in one of locations including Yale, UCLA, UC Berkeley, Johns Hopkins, U of Mich., Austin University, UNC-Chapel Hill. The Ronald Reagan Student Leadership Program: SLP is a week long hands-on learning experience that engages students of all leadership levels in innovative and rewarding ways. Students will learn: Informed Decision Making, Effective Communication and Purposeful Optimism. Our Leadership Action Plan curriculum allows students to create projects that impact their communities. Participants will develop several leadership fundamentals as they form meaningful friendships and have fun! We offer a variety of program options to fit your needs: virtual, onsite day program at the Reagan Library, and an overnight camp at Pepperdine University. Click here for more information.

Telluride Association Summer Seminars (TASS): The Telluride Association Summer Seminars (TASS) are six-week educational experiences for high school sophomores and juniors. We offer two programs: TASS in Critical Black Studies & TASS in Anti-Oppressive Studies. Participants in TASS will attend a college-level, discussion-based academic seminar, develop critical reading and writing skills, and explore the principles and practice of democratic community living. We cover all program costs for every student, including tuition, books, room and board, field trips, and facilities fees. Leadership Seminars at the University of Notre Dame: Leadership Seminars is a competitive, 10-day program on Notre Dame's campus for academically talented students who show impressive leadership within their communities. Approximately 90 students are admitted to Leadership Seminars each year, and students are eligible to receive one college credit upon completion of the program. Tuition, housing, and meals for students admitted to Leadership Seminars will be paid for by the University. Click here for more information.
