Bank of America Charitable Foundation's Student Leaders Program: Since 2004, Student Leaders has been part of our ongoing commitment to youth employment and economic mobility. Preparing a diverse pipeline of community-minded young students with the leadership training they need to be successful in the workforce is vital to our approach to responsible growth and helps to build thriving communities. Through our Student Leaders program we connect more than 300 community-minded high school juniors and seniors from nearly 100 communities to employment, skills development and service. They're awarded paid summer internships with local nonprofits such as Boys and Girls Clubs of America and Habitat for Humanity and participate in a national leadership summit in Washington, D.C. Superior Ambulance Services:  Our industry is currently facing a national shortage of EMTs which is impacting all areas of EMS. In response to this shortage, Superior is hosting free EMT classes and hiring and training Emergency Medical Responders (EMRs) to assist on patient transports while being trained and licensed as an EMT.  A high school diploma or equivalent is all that is needed to apply for our program. Additionally, our company provides tuition reimbursement for all young adults who sustain careers within Superior. Opportunities for advancement are always available within our company, or through employment by a fire department or within other areas within the healthcare industry. UPS: is currently hiring part time package handlers for all shifts, and is open to anyone seventeen years of age and older. (please note that the pay rate at UPS in Hodgkins only is currently $22/hr for Day/Twilight and $24/hr for Sunrise/Night through September 30, 2021).
