Program for the short-term staff training event:

• Prog. short-term joint staff training events from the 2^nd to the 4^th of October.

When each country does their methodology training, they also have to present, what is going to happen when they are hosts. In this presentation each country has to include as a minimum:

● Description of the criterias which the students have to meet, when they are chosen to participate

● A schedule of the visit showing visits to places included in the project and visits to places of more common interest

● The aims for the visit, what do we want our students to have learned when they go home both from the project but also in the broader sense

● What does the host country want the other countries to have prepared before the visit

What to bring:

- Remember to bring warm clothes for the outdoor activities and shoes for long walks

- Danish kroner

Tuesday the 1st of October

Ann will pick up Daniella and Carla at the airport in Tirstrup(Aarhus) at appr. 15.30

Lisbeth will pick up Oldrich and Radka in Aalborg appr. 16.00

Anns husband will pick up Paz, Ricardo and Oscar in Aalborg at 18.15

Line will pick up Heli.Maija and Marjaana in Hobro at 18.42

We will all meet at the school and have a bit to eat.

As you all know then I have booked hostel for you in Hobro.

I have ordered single rooms for Paz, Oscar, Ricardo, Radka and Oldrich and double rooms for Daniella and Carla and for Heli-Maija and Marjaana.

It costs 70 kr. for bed linen per person (to pay once), 415 kr. for a single room per night and then 55 kr. for breakfast per day. For a double room the price 495 kr. per night.

The hotel in Aalborg is called Zleephotel and it costs 1268 kr. for a double room for two nights. And it costs 644 kr for at double room for one night. A single room costs 1068 kr. for two nights. You can buy breakfast at the hotel.

Wednesday the 2^nd of October

We will pick you up at 07.45 at the hostel (you eat breakfast at the hostel from 06.00 a.m.)

From 08.00 until 09.50

We will review the application and distribute responsibilities (methodology leadership, management, assessment, dissemination, ITC tools, others). Contracts will be signed.

Break from 09.50 until 10.15 in the staffroom

From 10.15 until 12.15

We will make a tour around the school.

We will join an English lesson in a 9^th class. The class will work with cooperative learning.

Lunch at 12.15-12.45 (you can buy lunch in our cafeteria - only with Danish kr.)

From 12.45 until 15.30

Methodology training. ICT tools, network and dissemination strategies, done by Novi Jicin, Czech R.

At 16.00 we will continue the talk and take a walk around Mariagerfjord and have dinner in town.

We order tables and food for all at 19.00 p.m. , and you all have to pay for your own beverages.

Thursday the 3^rd of October

We will pick you up at 07.45 at the hostel (you eat breakfast at the hostel from 06.00 a.m.)

From 08.00 until 10.15

Methodology training. PBL, done by Hobro, Denmark

Break from 09.50 until 10.15 in the staffroom

From 10.15-12.15

You attend a science class (the class is based on PBL)

Lunch at 12.15-12.45 (you can buy lunch in our cafeteria - only with Danish kr.)

From 12.45 until 15.30

Methodology training. Outdoors Education, done by Otalampi, Finnland

At 16.00 We will arrange some kind of outdoor activity around Hobro and you can have dinner in town, we will help you arrange if necessary.

Friday 4^th of October

We will pick you up at 07.45 at the hostel (you eat breakfast at the hostel from 06.00 a.m.) Remember to bring all your baggage to the school, since you are not returning to the hostel.

From 08.00 until 10.15

Methodology training. Learning Service and Assessment, done by Soller, Spain

Break from 09.50 until 10.15 in the staffroom. Friday we sing and this Friday we will celebrate the official teachers day.

From 10.15-12.15

All schools make a short presentation (5 min.) of their schools and programmes for the students who might participate in the programme (8th graders).

We visit classes around the school.

Lunch at 12.15-12.45 (you can buy lunch in our cafeteria - only with Danish kr.)

From 12.45 until 15.30

Methodology training. Social inclusion management, done by Amarante, Portugal

At 16.00 we go to Ann´s place for a walk and dinner. (You all bring your own beverages for the dinner).

We will give you a ride to the hotel in Aalborg after dinner.

Saturday the 5^th of October

Paz will leave in the morning, Ann will bring her to the airport. Paz sleeps at Anns place from Friday to Saturday.

We will meet in Aalborg and see different sights. The program is still in progress, and you will hear about it, when you arrive.

From 17.00 you are on your own for a night in Aalborg.

Heli-maija and Marjaana leaves around 18.00 for Copenhagen on Saturday.

Sunday the 6^th of October

The rest of you leave Sunday and I hope you can all find your way to the airport, which is not fare.

Daniella and Carla we will help you find a train or bus to Tirstrup.
