Intercrosse
Lacrosse
Lacrosse was started by the Native American Indians and was originally known as stickball. The game was initially played in the St. Lawrence Valley area by the Algonquian tribe and they were followed by other tribes in the eastern half of North America, and around the western Great Lakes.
Lacrosse is a quick game between two teams of ten players each who use a stick with a net on top to pass and receive a rubber ball in order to score goals by pocketing the ball into the opposing team's net. However, Intercrosse was created because of how violent it is.

It can be played in an indoor gym, or outside depending on the available land. A handball field (40 x 20 m.) would be the ideal field.

Technique of lacrosse:
There is a movement with the stick, called a cradle that consists of turning the stick to protect the ball.
If the ball falls, it doesn’t matter and they continue the match.
If the players score, they throw their stick to the floor for the referee to see if the rigging of the stick is legal.
