The flag of the USA is well-known like the Stars and Stripes, Old Glory by the Star-Spangled Banner.

The flag consists of thirteen horizontal stripes, alternated in seven red and six white stripes, and a blue rectangle with fifty stars with five tips each one.

These thirteen stripes represent the 13 colonies, who gained independence from the UK.
