Our main medium of communication with parents is email. Our staff aim to respond to parent emails within 24 hours from the initial contact (during work hours and work periods only).
We encourage phone calls or face-to-face meetings when needed.
If you wish to make an appointment please contact the appropriate person via email to arrange a suitable time to meet.
Please do not approach staff when they are teaching to address a concern.
Classteachers should be the first point of contact for parents wishing to know more information about their child's school life.
Should the class teacher be unable to answer your question or you have a complaint of concern that cannot be addressed by the class teacher please contact a member of the school's leadership team.
In the unusual event of a parent still having concerns please contact the Head of School.
A copy of the School Complaints and Escalation Policy can be found here
All parents are given access to "Orchard", the school intranet, where you will find school policies, school reports and other important bits of information.
Please ensure that all the contact and medical information for your children is updated on the Orchard profile using the Data Updater.
Please make every effort to update your profile and ensure that all the information such as address, contact numbers, medical information of your child is updated.
During your child’s time at school, we may take photographs to be used in printed materials, school literature or on the school website. We may also make video or sound recordings for educational use. If you do not wish your child to appear in any photos, videos, sound recordings or in general media links, please indicate this on your child’s profile on Orchard.
Please contact Shirley Lam for log in information.
Each week, teachers will send families a summary of the week's events and a glimpse of the week ahead. Details of school trips and relevant dates are also included.
Each child has an online portfolio through the platform Toddle. Your child has the opportunity to share their learning with you throughout the week. See your child's teacher for log in details.
A weekly school-wide bulletin with important news and dates from the school is emailed to parents every Friday.
Each class has a link parent who acts as a central contact for sharing information and promoting friendships between families. They act as a liaison between the school and parents and support teachers with class events.
