Community Agreement

It is our shared mission to be a happy, healthy learning community empowering all members to flourish. This agreement ensures that all members of our community can flourish whilst on campus and beyond.

General Conduct

• Respectful communication: All staff, parents, and students are expected to communicate respectfully, whether in person, in writing, or online. 

• Role modelling: Appropriate behaviour for students should be modelled by all adults; using polite and civil language and refraining from public displays of anger or frustration.

• Respect for property: All school property should be respected and stored properly after use.

• Appropriate channels: The established and appropriate channels for communication with school staff should be used. If a meeting is required, an appointment should be made in advance.

Child Protection

• Appropriate interactions: Approaching or speaking to any child in a way that may make them feel uncomfortable, intimidated, or unsafe is not permitted. 

• Privacy and photography: Photos or videos of children or adults should only be taken with expressed permission. The school will set specific guidelines for events where photography is permitted, such as public performances.

• Restricted areas: Student-only areas, such as children's washrooms or restricted staff zones, should not be entered by parents or caregivers.
