The SBM ZET Card’s RuPay variant is now live for both Android and iOS users. This variant enhances accessibility and offers exclusive benefits for users seeking a secure and rewarding credit-backed card experience.

2. Product Overview

• Card Name: SBM ZET RuPay Credit Card

• Issued by: SBM Bank in partnership with ZET

• Availability: Available for Android & iOS users

• Type: FD-based credit card with multiple benefits

3. Why Are We Launching the RuPay Variant?

The RuPay variant has been introduced for the following reasons:

• Expanding Accessibility: RuPay is widely accepted across domestic merchants, online platforms, and government services.

• UPI Integration: RuPay credit cards can be linked directly to UPI, enabling seamless digital transactions.

• Customer Demand: Many users prefer RuPay over other networks due to government initiatives and its growing acceptance.

• Regulatory & Strategic Expansion: Offering a RuPay variant aligns with ZET’s expansion strategy and regulatory compliance for domestic financial solutions.

4. Benefits of the SBM ZET RuPay Credit Card

5. Application Process for SBM ZET RuPay Credit Card

Step 1: Register on the ZET App

1. Download the ZET app from the Google Play Store or Apple App Store.

2. Enter your mobile number and verify it using the OTP sent by ZET.

3. Enter your email address, verify it using the OTP received via email.

4. Enter your Name and PAN details to complete the registration.

Once the above steps are completed, your ZET account will be ready. You can now explore the app, which includes three main sections:

• Home: Displays your name, credit score summary, and an SBM ZET Card banner.

• Credit Score: Dedicated section to view your credit score and its insights.

• Card Section: The section where you can start the application process for the SBM ZET Card.

Step 2: Start the Application Process

1. Navigate to the "Card" section.

2. Select the FD amount (Available plans: Starting from ₹5,000 to ₹25,000 *Multiple of 1k) to view interest details.

3. Click Continue to proceed to the application steps overview.

4. Click on Start and accept the terms and conditions.

Step 3: Complete Personal Details Verification

Mobile & Email Verification

1. Enter your registered mobile number (same as ZET registration).

2. Verify your mobile number using the OTP sent from SBMIND.

3. Enter your email address (same as ZET registration).

4. Verify your email via OTP sent by SBM Bank.

PAN & Aadhaar Verification

5.            Enter your PAN number, Date of Birth, and Name (as per PAN).

6.                   Review your entered details and confirm correctness.

7.            Enter your Aadhaar number and verify via OTP sent to your Aadhaar-linked mobile number.

8.                   Review your Aadhaar details and proceed.

Step 4: Complete FD Payment

16.          Review the FD amount (modifiable before payment).

17.          Check available payment options and verified banks for FD deposit.

18.          Enter your bank account details for FD payment.

• If using UPI, ensure payment is made from your primary bank account.

19.          Complete the FD payment transaction.

Step 5: Complete Profile & Address Details

   • Preferred Name (to be printed on the physical card)

   • Mother's Name

   • Community Details

10.               Enter:

• Educational Qualification

• Employment Type

• Annual Income & Source of Income

11.          Review your Permanent Address and enter your Communication Address (VKYC & physical card delivery will be done here).

12.          Add Nominee Details (optional).

13.               Review all entered details and edit if necessary.

Step 6: Accept Terms & Conditions

14.               Accept the following terms by ticking the checkboxes:

• MITC, KFS, and Cardholder Agreement

• CIBIL Consent

• FD Terms & Conditions

15.               Submit OTP received on your registered mobile number.

Step 7: Complete VKYC (Video KYC)

20.               Ensure you have:

• Physical PAN Card

• Good lighting & internet connection

• White paper and pen for verification

21.               Follow the VKYC process as instructed.

6. Post-Application Process

• Once VKYC is successfully completed and FD payment is verified, your SBM ZET RuPay Credit Card will be issued within 24-48 hours if application got approved.

• 2-3 Verification questions will be asked by the SBM team to complete the vKYC process- Example:- Occupation Type, Annual Income, DOB or Maiden Name- Answer should be in Yes/NO

• The physical card will be dispatched to your communication address within the stipulated timeline.

• You will receive an SMS & email confirmation once your card is approved.
