‘How does the school support and develop pupils’ self effectiveness and understanding to help them monitor progress in their learning?'

Casllwchwr Primary School has been developing their Assessment In Learning (AIN) culture throughout the school. They have invested in training, and developed strategies, placing learners at the centre of their learning and assessment. This is to help them develop the integral skill of personal effectiveness where they are learning to use more successful approaches to self-evaluation of their learning identifying their next steps and through valued talk, discovering more effective means of self-regulation and resilience to learning.
