If you feel that your child has characteristics of autism and their behaviour is having an impact on their learning and wellbeing, you may wish to refer them for a diagnosis.
A referral is made by the school to the Neuro-developmental Pathway (the ND Pathway). Details are below.

Below are a list of organisations that can offer advice and guidance if you have concerns around ASC.
The National Autistic Society is the UK's largest provider of specialist autism services.
Autside Education provide a range of training for professionals, Autistic individuals and their families/carers.
Y Bont provides a range of services that support disabled children and their families.
Barnardo's help hundreds of thousands of children, young people, parents and carers across the UK.
Action for Children help protect and support children and young people, & provide practical and emotional care and support.
