The Data and Computational Thinking strand has several different intentions, namely:

1. develop our learners' understanding of the importance of information and data literacy

2. give our learners opportunities to explore aspects of collecting, representing and analyzing data

3. develop our learners' skills to understand how data and information connect in our digital world

4. develop the computer thinking skills of our learners
