The Student Services Department establishes and maintains a positive school culture to support effective teaching and learning in all Huntsville City Schools. Our goal is to meet the needs of the whole child while focusing on each student from Pre-K through 12th grade. This department focuses its attention on assisting each student at every HCS school from the following departments: Behavioral Learning, Counseling Services, Health Services, Student Welfare and Social Services, and alternative programs.
