The mission of the Huntsville City Schools Operations Directorate is to create and maintain holistically sustainable learning environments in which students, faculty, and staff can efficiently, effectively, and comfortably work together to accomplish shared goals. This notice is provided pursuant to requirements of the EPA Asbestos Hazard Emergency Response Act (AHERA) 40 CFR Part 763 and EPA guidance for K-12 public and private schools. A management plan for each of the Huntsville City School facilities has been developed and is maintained by an EPA Accredited and State of Alabama Licensed Asbestos Management Planner.
This EPA-AHERA Management Plan is maintained by the Designated Asbestos Program Manager with copies available at the school’s main office, the Huntsville City Schools Annex in Huntsville, AL and at the consulting AHERA Management Planner Office.
