Why not challenge yourself by writing these out to practise your handwriting and to see if you can remember the correct spelling.
Year 1 Vocabulary
This term, we will be continuing with our focus on the children's vocabulary and 'Expanding Our Vocabulary' every day. This will involve gathering three new words each week relating toour class text and displaying these in each classroom. We will be teaching the spelling and explicit meaning of the words, using them in different contexts, and encouraging children to use these words in their own vocabulary.

Why not practise your number bonds at home too, and become a member of the 'Bond Brigade'!
Ask your class teacher if you can show them which number bonds within 20 you know by independently writing these on a piece of paper, or on your whiteboard. Remember, these must be done without any help in school. When you have received a 'target met' sticker for each bond completed, and answered all the questions correctly in our number bond quiz, you become a member of the HIS 'Bond Brigade' and earn yourself a special certificate.
Good luck!
