Henry Geldzahler Award in

Art History

Henry Geldzahler, a Horace Mann alumnus, was a critic of twentieth-century art, the cultural commissioner to two New York City Mayors and the first curator of contemporary art at the Metropolitan Museum. He left his extensive library to the Horace Mann School, and in gratitude, we remember him each year by honoring outstanding art history students.
