The American Psychological Association Committee of Teachers of Psychology in Secondary Schools (TOPSS) gives educators the opportunity to recognize outstanding students in psychology. The award recipients are emerging social scientists who have demonstrated the essential knowledge, skills, and attitudes valued in the field of psychology. Horace Mann School has been presenting students with the APA TOPSS award since 2016.
