"The goals of statistics are based on five main topics: exploring data, planning a study, understanding probability theory, anticipating patterns, and acquiring inferential reasoning skills. It is roughly equivalent to the first semester of college statistics. AP Statistics requires a higher-than-normal amount of reading and writing. Generally, you can expect AP Statistics to be an average-difficulty AP class and likely the easiest of the AP math classes. AP Stats focuses more on comprehending and analyzing data. Expect 30-45 minutes of homework per class day. The course serves an especially diverse set of majors in math, business, and engineering. Students can build practical problem-solving and reasoning skills through AP Statistics. It is all problem-based learning and that applicability makes it fun and engaging.
Hope to see you next year!!"
