德育及公民教育主要幫助學生在不同的人生階段確立正向目標，建立個人抱負、責任感和尊重他人的態度；培養學生的正面價值觀及良好的個人品德及態度。透過德育及公民教育，學生學懂明辨是非、客觀分析和作出合理的判斷，讓學生能全面和多角度認識祖國，培養對國家和民族的認同和歸屬感，並願意承擔國家未來的發展和改善人民福祉的責任。
The main purposes of Moral and Civic Education are to facilitate students to build positive goals in different life phases, explicit aspirations of their own, a sense of responsibility, a respectful attitude towards others, and positive values, character traits and manners. Through Moral and Civic Education, students will be able to distinguish the right from the wrong, make the objective analysis and reasonable judgments and let students have a thorough understanding towards motherland through multiple perspectives. Cultivate their sense of belongings to our country and nation. What’s more, encourage them to be willing to take the responsibility for the development of our country and the improvement of the people's well-being.
