Locate and Select Funding Opportunities
IRIMS provides a comprehensive and efficient system to enable academic staff to search and apply for grants to support their research needs.
- Access "Funding Opportunities"
Go to "Grant Management", then click "Funding Opportunities"
2. Browse and select "Funding Opportunities"
Look through the "Funding Opportunities" listed and choose those of most interest. You can also use the filter function to sort the list by deadline, eligibility, and other criteria.
3. View funding scheme details
To find information about a specific funding scheme on the list, click on the desired Funding Opportunity entry.
Switch to the "Editing Layout" by clicking on the pencil icon (top left) to view more details.
If you decide to submit an application for a particular scheme, click on "Create an application".
4. Create an application
Choose the application type (i.e. name of the funding scheme) matches the Funding Opportunity and click "Create".
Please note!
The first time you create an application, a pop-up box may appear in the top right corner of your browser. Click on the box to allow the pop-up, and then click "Done".
