How do I complete my I-9 document?
After you are approved for your first shift with Tend, you will see a green banner in your app that says "Set up your payment account." During this Everee onboarding process you will see your I-9 document to complete and sign off on. Please ensure you upload your proper IDs for our compliance team to review.

What is a virtual document review session?
Tend is an Everify approved employer who is required to review I-9 documents remotely in accordance with the federal law that went into effect on 08/01/2023. Please see this link for more information https://www.uscis.gov/i-9-central/remote-examination-of-documents. After you complete your I-9 document in Everee, you are required to join a live 1-2 minute session with one of our authorized representatives to review the document(s) you uploaded into Everee.
What days/times are available for the virtual review session?
A Tend representative will be online during the below session times:
Monday, Wednesday, Friday: 10am PST -11am PST
Tuesday and Thursday: 3pm PST - 4pm PST
What do I bring to the session?
Ensure you bring the documents you uploaded into the Everee portal to this session, otherwise your session will need to be rescheduled.
