Background Check Process

When does Tend run a background check on me?

• Tend will only run a background check if you decide to work a job with a client that requires it.

Does Tend have a background check policy?

What does the background check include? 

• Our criminal background check includes a national criminal database search, national sex offender registry, and office of foreign asset control (OFAC)

How long will the background check take? 

• The background report will be generated nearly instantly. In certain circumstances, a background report may take a little longer to generate and would not be available until 2-3 business days after being initiated. 

Who is Yardstik? 

• Yardstik is Tend's trusted background check provider. Your information will be stored safely and securely.

Am I able to see my results? 

• Yes, a copy of your background check report will be emailed to you from support@yardstik.com once the report is complete.
