Provides flexible spaces that promote inquiry, creativity, collaboration, and community.
Libraries are designed to be used for more than designated library times. (Learning Commons model)
Comfortable seating in the library that is flexible.
Use for small and large groups encouraged.
High School online learning students utilize space during every hour of the school day.
Spaces are designed to meet the needs of diverse learners; meeting the needs of individual learning, small and large group learning.
Rotate displays to promote curiosity and highlight new topics and materials..
Variety of seating options. (high, low, soft, etc.)
Fixed and flexible scheduling for Librarian to work with classes at all subject and grade levels.
Fixed schedule for elementary classes.
PreK ~ 20 min. / week.
K - 1 ~ 20 min. lesson twice / week
2 - 4 ~ 30 min. / week
Flexible scheduling available for Middle and High School classes to meet individual teacher / curriculum needs.
Continue to build collections and resources to meet the needs of our students, staff, and community.
Continue to educate students, staff and the community about the spaces available to them in the library and how they can utilize them with their classes, groups, and organizations.
