Leverages an understanding of school and community needs to identify and invest in digital resources such as books and ebooks to support student learning.
Manage CSF (Common School Funds) to purchase resources across a variety of platforms including digital and print.
Purchase library materials (print and digital) according to professional reviews, student interest, staff curricular requests, and utilize services such as through Junior Library Guide, Destiny Library Analysis, and the CCBC (Children's Cooperative Book Club).
Run Titlewave Collection analysis at least twice a year to support weeding and purchasing decisions.
Member of the Wisconsin Schools Digital Library Consortium (WSDLC) to provide 24/7 access to thousands of eBooks and audio books.
Purchase digital resources through WiLS (Wisconsin Library Services) for maximum savings and cooperative purchasing discounts for databases that support curriculum needs.
Regularly run reports on digital collections, both books and databases to monitor usage.
Promote resources provided by Badgerlink.
Find new and/or additional resources for staff.
