Design an Icon that represents you. Then create a stencil of that Icon to paint in the classroom.
Things to keep in mind while creating this:
No larger than 6inch by 6inch
Make it so your icon will be easy to cut out with scissors
Don't put shapes inside shapes unless there are supports.
Stenciling is the method of applying a design onto a surface by sponging, spraying, rolling, brushing, or dabbing paint through a cutout overlay placed on a surface.
Stenciling can be found in ancient cave paintings and is still a valued art practice today. People usually know about stencils because of Banksy.
The wing in this icon is floating inside the bird. When the bird gets cut out so will the wing. Try it and see what I mean.
Add a bridge or support so that the shape does not fall through.
Or move the shape to the edge so that it will not fall through.
