Each window will be accompanied by a short piece of writing. You can select what type of writing you would like to do.
Short Story (2 Paragraphs that explain the Why, What and Where of your subject)
An Ode (atleast 10 lines of poetry that follow the Ode stanza)
Use the Small Objects: Inches template
Start with a RECTANGLE that is 14.5" x 15.75". (this is the outside boarder of the window)
Use BACKGROUND BITMAP to add the image of your subject. Trace it using the CURVE, POLYLINE, OFFSET, and TRIM.
The object needs to be a stencil. Same as Skill 3.
There are two different options for difficulty.
Pattern an object (like the cherries) in the background - Most Difficult
Pattern a shape (square, circle, polygon) - Baseline Expectation
Both options use ARRAY to create the pattern.
Draw and outline around your stencil.
Group all the lines in your stencil.
Place the stencil over the Pattern.
Use TRIM to cut the parts of the pattern that go into the stencil.
Next use TRIM to remove the parts of the stencil outline that go into the negative space of the pattern. See example image.
Use OFFSET to add a .5" boarder to the 14.5"x15.75" box you created at the beginning.
Use TRIM to cut the patter off at the offset line you created.
Use TRIM again to remove the negative space of the boarder and pattern. (see example images)
