Save image to your Laptop
Use Background Bitmap to place your image in New Rhino File.
Use the Curve, Polyline, Array, Trim, and Join Commands to Vectorize the image.
Two Finger click the image and select Save Image As...
Name the Image Rhino Trace
Open Rhino and use the Command BackgroundBitmap by typing it the press Return.
(you do not need to click in the command prompt area, you can just start typing)
Select your image and press Return
Rhino will ask where you want to start the image placement. Type 0 and press Return.
(this places the image at coordinate 0,0)
Rhino will then ask for the second corner. Type 12 and press Return
Rhino will then show an options list for the BackgroundBitmap command. You do not need to edit these yet. Press Return to finalize the command.
In the bottom right corner there is a Layers Panel. Change your layer to the Red layer by clicking the dot.
These are the Tools that you will use to outline the image.
Trace your image. Make sure to connect the lines.
Type BackgroundBitmap again and select the Visible box to Hide the image. Press Return
Look for areas where the lines are crossed.
Type Trim command
Select the Cutting Object. This is the object that will cut the line. Press Return
Click the line that you want to Trim. Press Return when done.
Look for lines that are not connected.
Click the line that needs to be connected.
Click the Anchor point on the end and drag it to the line you want to connect it to. Press Return when done.
Keep working until you have all the lines drawn.
