Welcome to our engaging two-week unit on Media Information and Literacy! The Unit is designed to equip students with the essential skills to navigate and critically analyze information from various media sources. Throughout the first week, students will explore the importance of accessing evidence from multiple reliable sources, honing their ability to determine credibility and relevance..
In the second week, students will apply their newfound knowledge by delving into a compelling real-world issue: the debate over whether we should have Saturday school. Through research and analysis, students will construct persuasive arguments, evaluating information from different perspectives. This project will not only enhance their media literacy skills but also cultivate their ability to form informed opinions and engage in meaningful discourse.
