Lesson 8- Migration to the United States : the Impact on people and places. The focus of this week will be immigration to the United States. The main essential question will be "How does migration affect the lives of people and the character of places?". Directly related to Wisconsin State Standard SS.Geog2: Wisconsin students will analyze human movement and population patterns. We will have two summative assessments this week. The first will be a mini- project of creating a slide show on one ethnic groups immigration story and the end of the week test. Homework for the week will be on the 7th grade google document. But the main assignment for the week will be students will completing a slide show on an ethnic group that immigrated to the United States. These are due Friday at the start of the class.
