Barbados BlackBelly Sheep

Barbados BlackBelly Sheep are social animals living in large groups (up to 1,000). When BlackBelly Sheep are forced to separate from their herd, they show nervousness via behaviors such as frequent barking. They are "hair sheep," which means they don't grow wool, but instead they have coarse hair. This breed is raised primarily as a source of meat for humans.

Barbados BlackBelly Sheep is a breed of domestic sheep from the Caribbean island of Barbados. They are able to tolerate heat; they also exhibit more stamina than most other breeds of sheep do.

Barbados BlackBelly Sheep are herbivores. Hibiscus and Mulberry leaf are among their favorites.
