Create a New Teacher Test (legacy)

**It is NOT recommended to use New Teacher Test (legacy) for CFAs

CAUTION: Once a test is created using New Teacher Test, the only way to change it to a CFA, at this time, is to click on Copy Existing Test. Select your test from the My Teacher Tests drop down and click COPY at the bottom. In the General Information window, change the Test Type from Teacher Test to Common Formative Assessments (CFA) and click GENERATE TEST at the bottom of the page.

Teachers have the ability to create their own assessments in Aware. Teacher tests should be used when creating scantrons or entering questions for online tests that are NOT CFAs. These tests will not appear in the campus or district data in Aware. The data is only viewable for teacher data analysis. The test authoring interface is similar to the tutorial information provided in the Create a New Blank Test tab. However, for new teacher tests, there is no need to enter start and stop dates and online testing is the only available testing option. Once the test is set to active, and the url is shared, the test is live.

Teacher tests can be shared to other teachers by selecting the SHARE A COPY button in the gray bar across the top and searching for the teacher. Once shared, the test is independently owned by each of the teachers but data collecting from the test will still only be accessible to the teacher.

New Teacher Tests can be permanently converted to a Team Test by selecting SHARE WITH TEAM in the gray bar across the top.
