Welcome to Woodland High School! We are excited to welcome you as our incoming freshmen and as our Class of 2026!

While Covid may have pushed us to do things a little differently this year, we definitely still want to make sure you have all of the necessary information you need in order to make a successful transition from middle school to high school!

Make sure you are finishing 8th grade strong, attending all classes, turning in your work, keeping in contact with your teachers and support system, etc. We want to make sure you leave on a good note as you head to us!

1. Visit the Core Classes, CTAE, and Fine Arts tabs and browse the courses you can take as a 9th grader. You can find course descriptions under the Course Catalog tab.

2. Visit the AP/Honors Courses tab if you are interested in taking any honors/AP courses to get information on taking these courses. You will then submit online honors/AP student/parent consent through this page. (This is a required step in order to take the honors/AP level courses as well as teacher recommendations from the middle school)

3. Visit the High School Transition Class tab to see what this course is and why it is required for all freshmen.

4. Visit the Counseling Office, The Den, and Administration tabs to hear from and get information about how these staff members can help support you through your high school career.

5. Visit the Athletics tab to see what it takes to be a student athlete at WHS.

6. Visit the Graduation Requirements tab to find information on planning ahead for graduation. It's never too early!
