Fine Arts

General Information

Interested in taking a fine arts class at WHS? While students in band, chorus, and orchestra classes in 8th grade will have a chance to audition to be in higher level classes, we do accept students to the entry level classes without any previous fine arts classes being taken in middle school.

Want to sing but never been in chorus? Want to play an instrument but never been in band or orchestra? NO WORRIES! We want you! Entry level courses are open to all students (even if you have 0 experience!).

Note: In order to meet graduation requirements, you will need at least 3 total credits in the CTAE, Fine Arts, or World Language categories. If you finish all three courses in a specific Fine Arts pathway, you are already meeting that requirement! Many students graduate with well over 3 credits total between these three elective categories.

Woodland High is home to some talented students who have exceptional teachers to help them improve their craft! Click on the buttons below to look at our elective offerings in Fine Arts.

Below is the district provided course sequence. This does not represent all courses available at WHS.
