Camp Horizon
(For Students who have lost a loved one)
Camp Horizon registration is open for 2025! This free camp is open to any child ages 6-13 who has lost a loved one (family member, class mate, teammate, friend, etc). This year's camp is Saturday, June 28th at North Henry Baptist Church in Stockbridge. We're looking forward to a full day of fun and learning together 🙂 Camp includes activities and education designed to help children learn how to recognize and manage emotions, develop coping skills, honor the loved one lost, and build a healthy support system. We provide all meals and supplies for the day, and have licensed therapists on-site to help support the children through the day. This year we're excited to include a music therapy session and carnival-style recess. We also host an optional caregiver's session geared towards providing resources and support for the caregivers of the children in attendance.
Our registration process is now completely self-service and available online now: https://www.sacredjourneyhospicefoundation.com/camphorizon
