REACH Scholarship Application
Henry County Schools is partnering with the Realizing Educational Achievement Can Happen (REACH) Program to provide a $10,000 college scholarship for 8th grade students. Review the eligibility requirements and submit your application and supporting documents to the Counseling Office by the priority deadline of August 29, 2025. Additional copies are available from your child's teacher, counseling suite, or the front office. REACH Program Eligibility Requirements:
Be a U.S. Citizen OR Eligible Non-Citizen for 12 consecutive months prior to the first day of classes in January (spring term) of the student's 7th grade school year.
Demonstrate financial need (see Page 3 of attached application). Proof of income (i.e. Food Stamps letter, tax document, W2, or paystub) must be submitted along with application.
Have attained grades of "C" or better in core courses for the past two reporting periods (semester system) or four reporting periods (quarter system).
Not be truant (good attendance record).
Have a behavior record that reflects no more than two total combined Level I and/or Level II disciplinary infractions.
Not have any out-of-school suspensions in the past two semesters or four quarters.
Not have any criminal and/or drug convictions.
