WHAT DO SCHOOL COUNSELORS DO?
You can find school counselors facilitating lessons on student success strategies, social emotional skills, and college and career readiness. We respond to crises, provide short term one-on-one counseling and small groups. Counselors may talk to students about grief, success strategies, or self-esteem. We also collaborate with teachers and parents to support student needs. In short, school counselors do a lot for our students!
