Greetings!

I am Ms. Raquel L. Moss, your College and Career Readiness Coach. This is year 22 in Henry County Schools. The purpose of my job is to ensure the successful transition of all learners from elementary to middle and then from middle to high school. I will provide and manage a comprehensive intervention program for at- risk students and will help prepare all 8th grade learners for high school and post-secondary careers.

My targeted areas are: maintaining effective relationship with students and stakeholders designing and implementing school wide support. I will support interventions providing direct services for students at risk of being retained, collaboratively designing transition programs and vertical teams with elementary and high schools develop relationships.

I will be using Henry County Employable Skills Framework that will require many skills to be college and career ready including academic knowledge technical expertise and a set of general cost cutting abilities called employable skills. We will cover Applied Academic Skills, Personal Responsibilities, Technology Use, Systems Thinking, Communication Skills, Information Use, Resource Management and Critical Thinking for all MMS learners.
