How do I contact my child's teacher?

Great job on engaging in parent teacher communication! They can be most easily reached via the email available on our school website. Simply click on their name to send them a message. Teachers spend the majority of their day facilitating classroom instruction, evaluating student progress and engaging in the collaborative planning process. Please allow for a 24-48 hour response time.

How do I schedule a parent teacher conference?

The home-school partnership is critical to student success. Please reach out to your child's homeroom teacher to schedule a conference with the core academic team. They can be most easily reached at email on our Faculty/Staff page.

Why is my child scheduled in Reading or Math Connection classes?

Connections Reading and Math are enrichment/support courses designed to help your child with their Reading and Math skills. Several criteria were used to determine eligibility (grades, Lexile scores, MAP scores, etc.)

How does my child get a work permit?

Instructions on obtaining a work permit can be found here.

What is the schedule change protocol?

Any learners requesting a schedule change must submit a written request from their parent/guardian to his/her homeroom teacher, who will then submit the request to the appropriate counselor. No learner is to be removed from one team to another without the approval of the principal.  It is the expectation that no teacher and/or staff member will encourage or attempt to facilitate a schedule or team change for any reason.  If there are extenuating circumstances to support reasons as to why the learner’s schedule should be changed, the faculty or staff member should notify a counselor or administrator; not the learner or the parent/guardian of the learner. Please see below for general guidelines on schedule change requests.
