Cadet Contract (Due 8 Sep 23)

Click on the form to review the SY23-24 Cadet Contract.  This is the contract between the Senior Marine Instructor, parent/guardian, and cadet.  It is important both cadet and parent/guardian are aware of the requirements to participate and remain enrolled in the program.

*Cadets are required to turn in the completed Cadet Contracts to their respective instructor no later than Friday, 8 September.  This is a graded item.

Cadet Handbook

Tucker MCJROTC Cadet Handbook.  The Cadet Handbook provides general MCJROTC information and specific information about the JRT MCJROTC program.  All cadets are expected to know the information contained in the handbook.  We recommend parents/guardians look through the handbook for additional information such as enrollment/disenrollment, grading, and grooming policies.

Not zoned for Tucker but interested in joining the JRT MCJROTC program? Completion of this form is required after a meeting with one of the Marine Instructors, the parent/guardian, and the prospective cadet.  More information regarding the variance procedures is provided below.

Each cadet should have a completed physical form on file given the rigors of the JROTC program.

MCJROTC Ribbon Chart

Please reference this chart when assembling your ribbons on your ribbon rack.  

Most ribbons that are earned over multiple years will have a bronze (second award), silver (third award), or gold (fourth award) Eagle, Globe and Anchor device applied.  

The following ribbons require the appropriate Lamp or Learning device applied for subsequent awards: Student Leadership, Distinguished Scholastic Achievement, Arts and Academics, and Athletic Participation.

The following ribbons require the appropriate bar device applied for subsequent awards: Drill Team, Band, and Rifle Team.

Note - The following awards have been updated: The Marine Corps Reserve Officers Association (MCROA) Medal is no longer awarded, The Naval Reserve Association Medal is now named the Association of the U.S. Navy Patriot Award, and the Reserve Officers Association Medal is now named the Reserve Organization of America.
