We are incredibly proud of all of our cadets who attended and competed at the Region 2 Drill Meet on 27 January. The competition took place at Colquitt County High School in Tifton, Georgia. The cadets travelled over 11 hours to represent our Program by competing in inspection, color guard, regulation, and exhibition events. Divided into two divisions, cadets competed either unarmed or armed with drill rifles modeled after the 1903 Springfield.

The cadets worked tirelessly for four months leading up to the meet, practicing every morning from 0745 to 0845 and most afternoons after school. Their hard work and commitment paid off as they secured five trophies and a spot in the National Championship in the armed division. As we continue our practice in preparation for Nationals, we congratulate the individuals who gave their all to make Regionals a success and celebrate our most significant drill competition victory in Program history!
