Junior High is a time students begin to explore more choices in their classes and begin choosing electives. Students can take courses they are interested in. Students that are zoned for Meadow Creek are zoned for Harwood Junior High. If you are at Meadow Creek on a transfer, you are responsible to apply for a transfer in Junior High as well. Be sure you know all of the School of Choice Programs and apply before the deadline. The transfer application always opens up right after the Holiday break-typically the first day back in January each year.

HEB ISD has "Schools of Choice" programs that let students focus on specific topics or skills. The programs aren't always offered at every school. Students and families who are interested in one of these programs will need to apply for the program, and may need to apply for a Schools of Choice transfer if the program is not at the school the student would be zoned for.
